The 2012 Senior Tour Auto Racers racing season officially ended this past Saturday night as Star held their 14th annual banquet on November 10th at White's of Westport, Westport, Ma.  Members for all over New England attended the banquet to close it with a "BANG"! Over 60 awards were presented to the Star Members.  It has been an outstanding season for the Star Organization with unbelievable car counts every weekend.  Star tours every weekend to all the New England tracks to bring "Vintage Racing at it's Best". As members sat down to a four coarse meal, they were entertained with a slide show of over 200 candid photos from all the tracks and shows for the 2012 season.   Following dinner was the introduction of the Officers and Board of Directors by President Charlie Lima. Then it was award time, but instead of President Charlie Lima passing out the awards he had something special in store for the guys this year!   Ahhh, Marilyn Monroe passed out the awards and the guys had smiles from ear to ear.  You never know what these guys will do and this is why Star shines with the greatest members a club could have.  They bring back history and racing the way it use to be FUN!!!!!!!!!!
