Norwood Arena Speedway featured midget and sports car racing, stock car racing, drag racing and other sporting events from 1948 through 1972 when Norwood Arena Speedway closed at the end of stock car racing season.

On June 2nd  Bezema Buick held its’ 8th annual Norwood Speedway Reunion.  On hand from STAR was Ed Mulligan with his #61 Pinto, Charlie Lima with his 2X coupe and Matthew Barboza with his #2Xjr.  The weather was hot and steamy almost 100% but you could still see a lot of drivers and fans make the show.

In the parking lot was vintage classic cars on display and other racing vehicles. It was nice to see the fans and legendary drivers drop by and bring up stories of the past.  Meanwhile Ed Mulligan and Matthew Barboza had a contest of who could sit the most fans in their cars.
